How to Play

Objective

Move the Bobail (the ball) to your home row to win. Green's home is the top row (row 5), Red's home is the bottom row (row 1).

Movement

Pawns slide in 8 directions (like a queen in chess), but cannot jump over pieces. Pawns must move as far as possible in their chosen direction.

Bobail moves exactly one square in any direction to an adjacent empty square.

Turn Structure

Each turn has two phases:

  1. Move the Bobail one square
  2. Move one of your pawns

Winning

Win by moving the Bobail to your home row, or by trapping the Bobail so it cannot move on your opponent's turn.
